Overview A leading international law firm appointed PTS to deliver end-to-end consultancy and project management for its office relocations in both Hong Kong and Singapore. The project encompassed the full design and implementation of structured cabling, audio visual, IT, and security systems to support the firm’s modern workplace requirements and global technology standards.

Project Objectives

  • Design and implement future-ready structured cabling and AV infrastructure aligned with global IT and workplace standards
  • Deliver new communications rooms
  • Oversee procurement, coordination, and installation of security and access control systems
  • Provide vendor-neutral Cabling, AV, Security designs tailored to legal workplace use cases.

Scope of Work

Structured Cabling & Communications Rooms

  • Design of structured cabling systems, and comms room layouts
  • Integration of IT infrastructure into architectural and M&E coordination processes
  • Cabling implementation to support voice, data, Wi-Fi, AV, and security across open plan and enclosed spaces

Audio Visual Systems

  • AV design consultancy for meeting rooms, boardrooms, and multi-purpose spaces including VC, content sharing, and room control
  • Specification and coordination of AV-over-IP platforms and signal distribution
  • Oversight of vendor implementation, testing, and user acceptance

IT & Security Systems

  • Coordination of client IT infrastructure including network equipment, Wi-Fi design, and rack layouts
  • Design and oversight of access control, CCTV, and intercom systems integration
  • Compliance with both firm-wide and local regulatory standards

Project Management & Oversight

  • Creation of tender packages and management of vendor selection process for each discipline
  • Weekly coordination calls with local stakeholders and global IT teams
  • QA/QC site inspections, issue tracking, and final commissioning oversight
  • Full documentation and as-built handover, including port maps, AV drawings, and security system layouts
